Backward compability of the ADXL359

Question

Hi, 
 
 Is the ADXL359 accelerometer designed to be a direct drop-in replacement for the ADXL357 or can it be used in existing designs without modification as a replacement for the ADXL357?

Thank you for your post. From a functional point of view, yes, they are compatible. However, the ADXL359 does have a smaller footprint, so I suspect that the PCB layout would need to adjust, in order to accommodate this migration. 
 - Can you please confirm this?)
