Regarding ADXL355 Repeatability value

Thread Summary

The user inquires about aging for 1000 hours to relieve stress during reflow, whether the repeatability value excludes this stress, and if the repeatability value can be reduced. The final answer confirms that electricity is not necessary during aging, the repeatability test includes parts soldered on the PCB with initial bias removed, and the repeatability value cannot be reduced as it is intrinsic to the electronics and MEMS sensor behavior.

Question 1: I am thinking of aging for 1000 hours to relieve stress during reflow. Is it necessary to turn on electricity during aging?
Question 2: Is it correct to understand that the repeatability value stated in the data sheet is the value excluding the stress during reflow mentioned above?
Question 3: Could you please tell me if there is any way to reduce the repeatability value ?

Hi

Thank you for posting your question on EZ.

Please find the answer below:

1) Not necessary.

2) The test that are part of the repeatability are performed to parts soldered on the PCB. The initial bias after soldered is removed from repeatability.

3) Not possible. It is intrinsic to the electronics and MEMS sensor behavior.
