I am working with ADIS16550 inertial sensor. I need to learn how to use and deal with ADIS16550.

But I cannot find any documents (Datasheet, Specs, Application Notes, ...) of this device on the Internet.

sorry for delayed response, but were you able to get the data sheet for ADIS16550

  • Thank you very much !! I got the datasheet document of ADIS16550.

    But I am confusing about configuring the Decimation Filter of ADIS16550. In the page 42 of datasheet : "The output sample rate is equal to 4000/(DECIMATE + 1). For example, set DECIMATE = 0x00000027 (DIN = 0x0027A90C) to reduce the output sample rate to 100 SPS (4000 ÷ 40)."

    Why the value of DIN is 0x0027A90C while the address of DECIMATION register is 0x54 ? I think the value of DIN should be 0x00275486 (D15:D0 = 0x0027; A6:A0 = 0x54; R/W = 1; and CRC = 0x6).

    Please help me to understand this situation.

    you are correct it should be 0x54 based on the data sheet table 91, 92 and table 15

    And in Table 21, page 32 of datasheet:

    Should the address of COEFF_C118 and COEFF_C119 registers be 0x7E, 0x7F respectively, instead of 0x7D, 0x7E ??

    you are right again, this is yet again another typo. 

    COEFF_C118 and COEFF_C119 registers are  0x7E, 0x7F
