CN0549 - How can I confirm that my sersor(CN0532) is working well? (there is no difference with any shock-test )

Hello, I'am graduate school researcher and I purchesed CN-0549 to measure vibration.

However,  I think CN-0549 is not working properly,

my problem is that, 1) In Oscilloscope, I can see random noise but,

there is no difference when I put shock on sensor part,

and even when I displug the cable of sensor, there is no difference (I can see olny random noise)

                                 2) when I check the values of the sensor, there is no difference of  ad7768-1 voltage (otherwise, ltc2308 voltages are slightly change)

So, I wonder How to know my sensor is working properly and, I want to know which part is problem (ADC part or CN0532 Sensor)

If you let me know how to cope with these problems, It would be very helpful for my research.

Thank you.

p.s : I insert figures for explaination of my situation.

  • I guess you attached the bottom of EVAL-CN0532 on top of EVAL-XLMOUNT.

    ADXL1002 is used on EVAL-CN0532.

And there is no mark or information of Accel. Z direction of EVAL-CN0532.

Accel. Z direction of EVAL-CN0532 is not vertical to bottom surface of EVAL-CN0532.

Accel. Z direction of EVAL-CN0532 is parallel to bottom surface of EVAL-CN0532.

You may attach EVAL-CN0532 to the side of EVAL-XLMOUNT to find another result.
