ADIS16497 - Method to determine the coordinate of ADIS16497 Signal.

Dear Technical Support Team,

I have trouble with determining the physical coordinate of ADIS16497. After mounting the IMU, I need to specify the physical coordinate of the IMU so that fits the signal of the sensor. However, I wonder if I can use the Edge (Mechanical Edge) of IMU as the reference for coordinate. are the edges manufactured accurately?

Another method that we are still considering is to use the Alignment Pin. After So, we plan to determine the vector from by the two Alignment Pin and then shift the vector an angle of 47.379 Deg (As Describing in the datasheet) to determine Y coordinate, and then X. 

Are our methods correct? Or can you recommend us other methods to determine the coordinate of the IMU signal.

    Thank you for posting your question in this forum. I am sorry that you have not received a response until now.  The inertial sensors, inside of these IMUs, are calibrated to an inertial reference frame, as defined by the alignment holes and the surface that these holes reside in.  I hope that this helps and will look forward to any further questions/dialog.
