Activity and in-activity detection of ADXL362

Hi

I am FAE in Japanese distributor.

Our customer uses activity and in-activity detection of ADXL362.

If the active timer is set to 10 seconds and X Data exceeds the threshold for only 5 seconds then Y Data exceeds the threshold for only 5 seconds,

could ADXL362 detect the activity?

When was the reference value measured in reference mode of activity detection?

How was the reference value measured in reference mode of activity detection?

    I'll confirm with a colleague if the X and Y - axes are independent for activity/inactivity.

    The axes are independent but a combination of the x-y axis above the limit would trigger the activity detection. 

    For example, 


    If this is what you're referring to, then yes, the timer would continue on running and at 10 seconds, then it would issue an activity interrupt.

    "In the referenced configuration, activity is detected when acceleration samples are at least a user set amount above an internally defined reference for the user defined amount of time, as described in Equation 1. ABS(Acceleration − Reference) > Threshold (1) "
