Hi
I am using ADXL350 to detect the angle of rotation for certaim range. Eg. 0 to 60deg, but sometime data is over-range. may be because the data include dynamic acceleration (due to vibration). Is it possible to measure only static acceleration?

Hi karu,
Thank you for your use of ADXL350. The data being over range is due to vibration rectification effects. It could be maybe that your chosen g-range isn't sufficient enough to fully capture the gravity+vibration accelerations. Here is an article that explains more of VRE (https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/tech-articles/vibration-rectification-in-mems-accelerometers.pdf )
Also you can limit the effects of VRE by choosing an appropriate bandwidth for you to reject high frequency vibrations. Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
John
