ADXL375_Data at the time of failure

Hello.

Do you have information about ADXL375?

If there is output data when this device breaks down, can I have it?

If it can be referenced, it will be saved if possible.

I'm sorry but please

    Hi Baggio,

I believe there is no available data related to output data if the device broke down. But you can test it by performing a selftest.

After selftest, the z data should be around *6.4g, it is an indication that the device is still functioning.

*Self-test change is defined as the output (g) when the SELF_TEST bit = 1 (DATA_FORMAT register, Address 0x31) minus the output (g) when the SELF_TEST bit = 0.
Due to device filtering, the output reaches its final value after 4 × τ when enabling or disabling self-test, where τ = 1/(data rate). For the self-test to operate correctly, the part must be in normal power operation (LOW_POWER bit = 0 in the BW_RATE register, Address 0x2C).

For more information about the self-test feature, see the Using
    Self-Test section at www.analog.com/.../ADXL375.PDF

    Regards,

    Mark
