ADXL355 EXT_SYNC=01 mode

Could you please advise me the following figure?

What meaning does "LOST SAMPLE" in this figure?

    "DRDY is always active high. The INT_POL bit does not affectDRDY. In EXT_SYNC modes, the first few DRDY pulses after initial synchronization can be lost or corrupted. The length of this potential corruption is less than the group delay."

    But it is not clear from the figure in the data sheet so it would be good to get an AD engineer to clarify this.

    I use the ADXL355 reading from the FIFO. At startup the ADXL355 is up and fills the FIFO befor my MPU is up. Once my MPU is up, I catch up on the FIFO read and then it is all steady state and never noticed any read errors. I read XY&Z together to ensure I have a record set that belongs together. Hope this helps.
