In the factory default configuration, the DIO_CTRL register configures DIO1 as the busy signal, with a positive polarity (high = busy). So you shouldn't have to do any configuration, unless a register was accidentally changed. BTW, it wound be a good idea to check DIO_CTRL, as well.
