My customer compared the transmission time of ADF7024 between Profile D and E. In theory, they expected to reduce the transmission time by half, but they could not find a difference between the two profiles.
Please help the customer improve the problem.
I believe this is related to your other query, https://ez.analog.com/low-power-rf-transceivers/rf-transmitters-and-transceivers/f/q-a/97841/tx-rx-time-when-using-adf7024.
I have tested the transmit time using profile D and Profile E using the evaluation boards and software, connected to a VSA. Using Profile D, I was able to transmit 1152 total bits at a total time of 11.6 ms, close to the computed value of 11.52 ms.
Using Profile E, I was able to transmit the same 1152 bits at a total time of 5.81 ms, close to the computed value of 5.76 ms.
I would suggest reviewing the datasheet, and checking if you are configuring the ADF7024 properly.
