This doesn't look like it should be a problem, but I want to check:
Is it acceptable to have a separate higher voltage for the PA than the device VDD? I want to run the device at 1.8V but the PA (i.e. the hot end of L1A in the datasheet typical application schematic) at 3V in order to obtain higher power.
The fact the PA is open drain suggests it's OK. But if for example there are parasitic or ESD diodes on the PA pin that could shunt 3V to VDD and cause some fun.
