Configuration of MAX96717 GMSL serializer board With MAX96724 GMSL de-serializer board.

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: MAX96724

I have an setup of GMSL system with MAX96717 AAK EVK board connected with MAX96724 BAK EVK board with GMSL COAX cable.

I am not able to transmit CSI data in RAW16 format over GMSL system. Can you help me through basic setup and configuration scrip of both boards ? Also, is it possible to download GMSL GUI v1.3.0 ?

More details and requiremet is mentioned in below table.

  1. I want the configuration file (Script in .txt,.csv format) for GMSL GUI software. which I can load into GMSL GUI and check my data transmission details.
  2. I also facing problem to connect both boards at a same time with UI of GMSL GUI.
I can connect them separately by choosing the connected COM. But not together in serializer and de-serializer section.
  3. At serializer side, I can see the MIPI Packet Counter Registers data value toggling when I give CSI-2 data. Such as 38D,38F and 390. But I did not notice same thing with register 38E (CSI-2 counter).

Please ensure that the script you provide includes at least the following register read and write commands:
    >> To verify the status of received CSI-2 data confirmation
    >> To check the CSI-2 received data package or data size
       >> To obtain the configuration details for CFG 0 and CFG 1 pin levels
       >> To check the status of CSI-2 to GMSL conversion
       >> To examine error details
