Hi,
I'd like to use ADF7030-1 or ADF7021 with MSK modulation method but I can not find that
these chips accept MSK in thier datasheets. Both of them can use MSK modulation?
Thanks,
Kazu

Hi Kazu,
The ADF7021 could support both 2FSK and 4FSK. While the ADF7030-1 could support both 2FSK and 4FSK in transmit mode, but only 2FSK in receive mode.

Hi Edwinu,
Thank you. I understood both can not support MSK modulation.
One more question. How about ADF7012? It also can not support MSK modulation?

Kazu
Hi Kazu,
You get MSK by setting the modulation index of FSK to 0.5, which can done on both radios.
Hi,
Where can I find the modulation index of FSK?
I found the following register to set FSK but can not set FSK to 0.5 in this register.
Plese let me know how to set FSK to 0.5.
Thanks,
Kazu
Hi Edwinu,
Would you help take care of the above question about how to set FSK to 0.5?
Thanks,
Kazu

Hi Kazu,
The radio has no modulation index register or bitfield that you can set. You use the data rate and frequency deviation registers to configure the modulation index. Please read more on FSK by following the link below.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency-shift_keying
You'll find that "In MSK, the difference between the higher and lower frequency is identical to half the bit rate."
