We need to create an prototype using evaluation board EVAL-ADF70XXMBZ2 to send wireless packets to our target customer device. However, the protocol in our customer device is different from the ADIismLINK, in the ADI EVAL board. To achieve our goal, we probably need to modify the MAC and PHY software layer in the ADIismLINK.
In the documentation, it states that the AdiMacV2 module that provides the MAC, PHY and RPC are not user-modifiable without a source-code license and we wonder how we can proceed this prototype exercise using the ADI EVAL board. How can we obtain the source-code? Is there any other alternative to implement this application?
We don't provide the source code that runs on the host MCUs of our eval boards. Also, the ADIsimLINK is no longer supported for new customers. May I suggest a newer device: the ADF7023 or ADF7030-1. Both newer devices include a light MAC layer for transmitting and receiving packets.
