Visual Analog doesn't find libiio.dll, but libiio is installed in the computer.

Question

I just downloaded Visual Analog in the same computer I have IIO Oscilloscope. When I try to create a new canvas with an iio client, the Visual Analog fails with libiio not found. I installed the libiio for windows before installing Visual Analog using the libiio installer for windows.

Hi, 
 There is no need to manually copy the libiio.dll file inside the visual analog folder. It's better if you remove it. 
 Just to make sure, did you get the latest Visual Analog IIO Plugin? It's the new plugin on page IIO Plugin for Visual Analog [Analog Devices Wiki] 
 (downloadable at https://wiki.analog.com/_media/resources/tools-software/linux-software/libiio/clients/va_iiopluginsetup.zip ) 
 If you did, then the next things is to ensure that Visual C++ resdistributables are installed. As far as I know both x86 and x64 are required to be installed. The Visual Analog IIO Plugin installer can install them for you if you enabled the option while following the steps of the installer. 
 I none of these advises help, could you please tell us which version of libiio have you installed? Also the windows version and architecture (32/64 bit) information might be helpful.

Hi, 
 That helped. 
 i had to uninstall all 3 
 1. VisualAnalog. 
 2. iio plugin. 
 3. libiio 
 and install them again in same order as above [1,2,3] and then it started working.
