Hello,
I am a student using a CN0566 kit and following the initial setup. I am experiencing an error that I don't know how to rectify when running the phaser_find_hb100.py script. Please see the picture below for the debug output, but essentially it is failing to find the Pluto. I have confirmed that all my cables are plugged in correctly, and have the micro-USB going from the RPi to the Pluto's central port (or right hand one when looking from the front of the Phaser).
I have tried some troubleshooting, and lots of looking online without much luck. I have looked at this page (https://wiki.analog.com/university/tools/pluto/users/customizing#updating_to_the_ad9364) and this page (https://wiki.analog.com/university/tools/pluto/users/firmware), trying things with avahi and iio (although I am not a Linux guru so really am just following along rather than any novel investigation. This page (https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/circuits-from-the-lab/cn0566/overview_setup) talked about the Pluto setup, but those commands just tell me the configuration file is wrong or corrupted. The bit that is really confusing me is that it keeps referring to the IP address of the Pluto, yet the device has no Ethernet port and thus is not plugged in, the only connection to it is the USB-micro and the ribbon cable (well and the uFl RF cables).
Am I meant to connect directly to the Pluto in a different way and configure it? Can anyone help me figure this out please?
Many thanks,
Robyn
