Single camera on link A without FSYNC signal - possible?

Hi, I have question about possibility of not using FSYNC signal. HW setup: My HW connections looks like below: CAM_SENS-------SER[MAX9292]------DES [MAX96724] -------SoC Question: For tests I want to run image streaming from single camera connected via MAX9292<>MAX96724 to the SoC. I'm wondering if it is possible to disable FSYNC on deserializer and recive a image from sensor to minimize the configuration? Br's, Frank.

Hi, 
 FSYNC is not mandatory from GMSL point of view but you have to check your camera sensor requirements and configuration. 
 If you configure the sensor to run in free-runing mode and frames acquisition not be triggered by FSYNC you should be good to go. 
 GMSL just provide the possibility to transmit FSYNC from deserializer to serializer with minimum delay.)
