Struggle Bringing up ADRV9002 EVB with Linux Drivers

Please provide more detail on what the issue they are actually facing. Where are they stuck? Did they follow the doc here https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/adrv9002/quickstart/zed ?

Hi travisfcollins , I started using the https://swdownloads.analog.com/cse/kuiper/image_2024-04-04-ADI-Kuiper-full.zip image, so I guess using 2022_r2 release. Everything boots fine. However when I open the IIO Oscilloscope there is no way I can see the DDS generated waveforms looping back TX and RX with a SMA cable, I can only see noise coming in. I tried some basic settings just like in some you tube video where I can see this working with no luck.

My question is : Is the json profile and stream.bin loaded at boot from firmware folder good enough for the reference design to work out of the box? Or do I need to use the TES and generate a different configuration ?

Yes - it should be enough. Wondering do you change the RX Local Oscillator Frequency to be the same as the TX Local Oscillator Frequency? By default they are offset by 50 MHz.

LDCInt can your provide screenshots of the IIO-Scope ADRV9002 panel? Also, which SMA ports are you connecting?

Hi travisfcollins , can you confirm that if I am in CSSi-4 Lane DDR and the IIO-Oscilloscope sets a 1.92 MSPS, I have a clock rate of 1.92*4 and data rate of 1.92*4*2 ?

In CSSI-4 DDR mode you should have the following relations:

- Clock rate = 4x IQ Sample Rate

- Data/lane rate = 8x IQ Sample Rate

So yes, your math is correct.
