Dear all,
I am using the ADI Linux driver of the dig. pot. AD5259 (Rab = 50 kΩ). On one hand, I can read/write the value of the eeprom0 and rdac0. On the other, the value read from tolerance0 is 0xffff which would mean a tolerance of -128%:
MSB: 1 = - (neg.)
Next 7 MSB: 111 1111 = 127
8 LSB: 1111 1111 = 255 × 2^-8 = 0.996 = 1
Tolerance = -128%
I would like to know whether my interpretation is correct or there is a problem with the IC.
