Changing Ethernet PHY

Category: Software
Product Number: AD9081

Good evening,

I am trying to use pyadi-iio over ethernet but I am struggling to incorporart the correct ethernet PHY into my petalinux + meta-adi build.

In my boot logs I can see the following -

[ 11.541159] macb ff0c0000.ethernet eth0: PHY [ff0c0000.ethernet-ffffffff:01] driver [TI DP83867] (irq=POLL)
[ 11.550981] macb ff0c0000.ethernet eth0: configuring for phy/rgmii-id link mode

I am looking for a way to change this PHY device to the one on my custom carrier - could you please point me to the file which controls this? I believe I have provided all the dependencies on the petalinux side.

As a side note I am looking to use the network for IIO as I believe there are issues using LibIIO over serial for Versal devices - this was confirmed for the No-OS applications, can you confirm if this is true for the Linux projects? I have been unable to connect IIO Oscilloscope, iio_info, or similar from my host machine to my petalinux build over serial so far.

Many thanks

Jack
