Linux Kernel configs needed for ADAU1761 codec driver

SigmaDSP firmware is optional and ADAU1761 can be used as a simple codec without DSP.

You're right, to add support you have to enable the kernel driver (module or built-in) and add the devicetree bindings for ADAU1761.

For device-tree bindings we have examples for RPI, Xilinx Zynq and the Linux kernel devicetree documentation.

Hi ,

The codec is now detected and I'm getting MCLK, i2s clock and i2s data, but there is no audio output. In some implementations a dummy firmware file is loaded, is it required?

Also I think the ALSA configurations are not correct. Can you share me the default configurations?
