Does "ADV7511 HDMI Transmitter Library" require "ADV7511 HDMI transmitter Linux Driver"?

Does "ADV7511 HDMI Transmitter Library" require "ADV7511 HDMI transmitter Linux Driver"?

Or are they irrelevant and independent?

    Hi,

The "ADV7511 HDMI Transmitter Library" is independent from the ADV7511 HDMI transmitter Linux Driver.

You can use the library to create some sort of userspace/NoOS driver but otherwise if you use just Linux the ADV7511 HDMI transmitter Linux Driver is all you need and it will take care of all relevant chip configurations.
