AD9361 rootfs

Hi,

I have a custom board which has 2 AD9361 and ZYNQ XC7Z030. I have built my Linux files separately. I can test my TX ports with spectrum analzyer. For my RX ports I added chipscope probes in to output of AD9361 ADC's I/Q pins. I can see sinus waves when I loopback my TX ports to RX ports.

However I need to see the RX ports in frequency domain. I installed IIO Oscilloscope application in my Linux computer then want to connect remotely to my custom board. In this point I used ubuntu based linaro 12.0 rootfs and booted from SD Card. But i couldn't install necessary files into the rootfs.  Is there any ready debian based rootfs which has IIO Oscilloscpe already installed?

When I search on google "AD9361 rootfs" or "Analog Devices rootfs" or "IIO Oscilloscope rootfs" or smt similar, I couldn't find it.

    I have already seen this before but there are only .img image files. I have compiled files:

    * my_borad_u-boot.elf, 

    * my_board_uImage

    *my_board.dtb

    * ubuntu_linaro_12.0 rootfs which I took from :

    I need only rootfs. I will put rootfs on my sd card partition 2. I added bootargs parameters on my device tree to connect rootfs when Linux booted in the SD Card partition 2.

  • Hi again, I am facing a new issue.

    I can see the values and parameters here. I can loopback my TX channels to RX channels, I can see the RSSI value of RX Channels increasing or decreasing. 

    However, I cant plot anything. My plot screen is total empty as you see here. Also only cf-ad9361-A is shown here. 

    When I press the measure button it gives this error. Connection timed out !

    My Linux computer is not virtual, it is physical. I dont think there is a network issue.

    Is there a DMA interrupt problem or similar ?

    I generated my device tree via Xilinx Tool to learn what is it correct pin of interrupt. I beleive its true. By the way I dont know how to test my DMA function is working.
