I am using ZCU102 with ADRV9009 evaluation board.
And I get following error: get_eye_data:663: open failed
I added the "strace -o" when launching the jesd_eye_scan app command to give more information:
What could be the cause of this?
Yes, I am running it trough sshfs.
It seems that only the commands are changed. So I don't need updates of my drivers/kernel/hdl.
So, if I running following commands. It should work?
Can you try to run it local on the ZCU102? Are you using the latest version of the tool, with up to date kernel and HDL?
For kernel and hdl I am using the comitt from the master branche from 29september2019.
When I change the min BER SCAN Depth to 4.77e-08, then the test will complete. And the eye diagram will pop-up.
When I set the "Ber scan depth min" to 1.91e-07 the test will fail with error "get_eye_data:663: open failed".
Was this happening when running the tool on the ZCU102 or remote via sshfs?
For remote, we've updated instructions on the wiki.
See 'Running remote' section.
We've found several issues on certain systems.
dave@HAL9000:/home/dave# mkdir /home/dave/mnt
dave@HAL9000:/home/dave# sudo sshfs -o direct_io,sync_read,allow_other -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no email@example.com:/ /home/dave/mnt
dave@HAL9000:/home/dave# LC_ALL=c jesd_eye_scan -p /home/dave/mnt
It worked for us.
I hope they work for you as well.
