em...When I wanna add the Xilinx APF Accelerator driver to the linux image, I can't find the driver in my menuconfig of linux-2016_R1, so it's said that linux-2016_R1 doesn't support the Xilinx APF Accelerator driver? is there anyone added it successfully,waiting for your reply.
Question moved on Linux Software Drivers forum.Andrei
The Xilinx APF accelerator should be supported by XIlinx on it's forum.
Can you provide your use-case with it ?
And what Analog Devices SW/HW parts you want to integrate it with ?
I use the linux-2016_R1 to make a kernel supporting the adv7511 on my zynq board, and now I need the APF driver to acollate the cma, but the kernel doesn't have the driver.
So, if you do
ARCH=arm make zynq_xcomm_adv7511_defconfig
ARCH=arm make menuconfig
│CONFIG_XILINX_APF: ││ Select if you want to include APF accelerator driver││ Symbol: XILINX_APF [=n] │ Type : tristate│ Prompt: Xilinx APF Acceleratordriver│ Location:│ -> Device Drivers│ -> Staging drivers (STAGING [=y])│ Defined at drivers/staging/apf/Kconfig:5│ Depends on: STAGING [=y] && (ARCH_ZYNQ [=y] || ARCH_ZYNQMP)
You should be able to configure/enable the Xilinx APF driver.
