Hi, I am using zcu102+ad9009 develop kit. When I tried to use "petalinux-bulid" command to compile the petalinux project given in ug1144 page 27, I've got the following error:
baid@ubuntu:~/WorkSpace/newproject$ petalinux-build [INFO] building project[INFO] sourcing bitbakeINFO: bitbake petalinux-user-imageERROR: OE-core's config sanity checker detected a potential misconfiguration. Either fix the cause of this error or at your own risk disable the checker (see sanity.conf). Following is the list of potential problems / advisories:
You system needs to support the en_US.UTF-8 locale.
Summary: There was 1 ERROR message shown, returning a non-zero exit code.ERROR: Failed to build projectwebtalk failed:PetaLinux statistics:extra lines detected:notsent_nofile!webtalk failed:Failed to get PetaLinux usage statistics!
But when I type "locale" cmd, I found the language has been already set as en_US.UTF-8, showed below.
How can I fixed my essue?
We don't use the petalinux tools flow at all, so we really can't help you.
These kind of generic Xilinx tools questions are best asked on the Xilinx support forums.
Thank you for your response. In fact, it happened like this.
I am using zcu102+adrv9009 development kits. According the instructions on your web, I have already rebuilt the Vivado projects and the ADRV9009 works fine.
The point is that I need to add an AXI DMA IP in the PL project to move data of my own costomed IP to DDR. I have the software driver of AXI DMA for bare-metal project, but all the drivers of ADRV9009 just support Linux-project now. I want to cross-compile the driver of AXI-DMA for linux project, but I have not found how to do in ADI website. Could you tell me how to fixed my problem?
Stay tuned - the ADRV9009 No-OS project will release shortly.
How long?one or two weeks?
Besides, could you tell me how to cross-compile app or drives for linux-project?
Maybe today or tomorrow. But for sure this week.
It's not a matter of cross-compile. Linux drivers are for Linux you can't use them anywhere else without major rewrite.
