Q: Why should I use a 100Mbps M-LVDS transceiver instead of a 200Mbps M-LVDS transceiver?
A:
In transmission line theory, it is best practice to use a part with a rise and fall time as close to the data rate required to minimize reflections. ADI provides two datarates to facilitate this: 100Mbps for datarates up to 100Mbps and 200Mbps for applications that need datarates between 100Mbps and 200Mbps.
