A: When IN_ bit in R0 is set to 0 in HS mode the OUT_ is tri-state. If OV is reported, that means higher voltage than VDD is applied to OUT_ pin. However, the overvoltage may not happens because the VDD is following an external voltage minus ~0.7V drop on body diode of HS switch. So, it depends on the VDD supply. Does it accept a negative current or not. If not, then OV will be set.
