MAX14900’s datasheet does not have the full details regarding the leakage current
Question #1:
High-side mode open-load detect on, when in the off-state, does this apply to open load leakage current to the output?
Answer:
When the open-load detection is enabled /on, then the total current of 80uA (typ) is applied to the output/load. That includes the leakage current.
Customer don’t have to take care this is leakage or bias current. The total current coming from the chip guaranteed vs production and temperature.
Question #2
High-side mode open-load detect off, when in the off-state, does this apply to high-side mode leakage current to the output?
Answer:
When the open-load detection is off, there is only the leakage current to the output in Hi-Z (off state).
