For a MAX3160 circuit, if only the 1TX/1RX RS232 communication is used, can TX1 and RX2 be used or can TX1/RX1 or TX2/RX2 be used?

The MAX3160 can be setup to use 2TX/2RX RS-232 or half duplex/full duplex RS-485 receivers, by configuring through pin #11. Once the RS-232 function is selected, users can apply RX1/TX1, RX2/TX2, RX1/TX2 or RX2/TX1.
