The slew rate limit of the MAX3080/MAX3081/MAX3082 means that the maximum rate of change of output of the transceiver is limited in order to reduce EMI and reflections due to improper terminations. Limiting the slew rate limits the maximum transmission rate. Products of this series can guarantee error-free data transmission up to 115 kbps.
