All functions can be used on these parts whether LCCEN is 0 or 1.
When the LCCEN pin is "1", it enables the I2C/UART interface for programming the device as well as the connected deserializer and remote ICs. When LCCEN is "0" the I2C/UART interface is disabled.
When LCCEN is "0", various pins are used to enable or disable functions of the device, since there is no I2C/UART interface. When LCCEN is "1", these pins are used for the I2C/UART interface and the functions must be set using register bits. Register bits are available for all functions which are pin programmable when LCCEN = "0".
