In the MAX1564 can I connect multiple current limit switches in parallel so as to get higher current limits?
Unless specified, it's generally not advisable to parallel the outputs of such switches as they are not designed to support current sharing. Unequal currents will flow in the switches and that could be a problem. You might get an oscillation when one switch hits current limit before the other. It is advised to select a product designed to support the appropriate amount of current.
