The MAX31911 datasheet indicates that the LSB of a 16-bit read should always be 1. Why am I reading 0?
The datasheet for the MAX31911 is incorrect. The part outputs a 0 in 16-bit mode. This can be demonstrated with the EVKIT or measured with a logic analyzer.
