When I connect MAX14850 Port A to Port A, communication does not work. Why?
The I/OA_ output for low logic is 0.6 to 0.9 volts, while the Input Logic-Low Voltage for I/OA_ is less than 0.5 volts. So if you are connecting Port-A to Port-A you would be in violation of the logic input low threshold.
