Q. Are there any Software-based Serialization solutions to be used with Maxim Deserializers?
A. The GMSL serializer and deserializer can only work as a pair. Because the serialization scrambles the input data and then add 8b/10b coding on top of it before sending serialized data onto the GMSL. The deserialization does the reverse work at the other end. The scrambling scheme is unique and Maxim™︎ proprietary.
