MAX9271: FAQ

FAQs
  • FAQ

Are there Software based Serialization to used with Maxim Deserializers?

    Q. Are there any Software-based Serialization solutions to be used with Maxim Deserializers? A. The GMSL serializer and deserializer can only work as a pair. Because the serialization scrambles the input…
  • FAQ

Can the MAX9271/2 transmit power via a coaxial cable?

Yes. The power supply and signal use different frequency band. Power supply lies in DC and low frequency band, whereas signals in higher frequency band. Power supply and signals can pass through the same…
  • FAQ

How do I determine if the MAX9271 is working?

The most direct way is to measure the output waveform of the MAX9271 . However, many of our customers do not have oscilloscopes capable of measuring high speed signals. The most common oscilloscopes with…
  • FAQ

How do I use the MCU on the MAX9271 side to control the GPIO on the MAX9272 side through a coaxial or twisted pair cable?

Each SerDes device has two I 2 C device addresses stored. Register 0x00 in the MAX9271 corresponds to the I 2 C device address of the MAX9271 . Register 0x01 corresponds to the I 2 C device address of…
  • FAQ

  • FAQ

    ADDx 、 CX/TP 、 I2CSEL 、 SD 、 HIM
  • FAQ

  • FAQ

  • FAQ

Double input mode?

  • FAQ
