ADM2487E: D1/D2 pin

Hello,

I have a question about the D1/D2 of ADM2487E.

I am using ADM2487E with the same circuit as Figure34 in the datasheet.

In my circuit, When VDD1 reaches about 1.4V, D1/D2 and GND are short-circuited.

And, the overcurrent flows to the transformer.

When the voltage of VDD1 goes up further, D1/D2 starts oscillating.

I want to solve the problem of the overcurrent to the transformer until D1/D2 starts oscillating.

Could you tell me advice of the cause?

Best Regards,

Mr.K

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

I am using the transformer of Murata.

    Parts#: 782482/33VC

A primary voltage of the transformer is 3.3V.

And, I am using the ADP3330.

The difference with Figure34 in the datasheet is Schottky diode.

I am using Schottky diode of Shindengen for the second side of the transformer.

    Parts#: D2FS6-5063

    Best Regards,
