I will not have the liberty to make distinct ground planes running down the midline of the ADuM7441. I am connecting my board that has an ADC to an DAQ card, using the ADuM7441 to separate my grounds. Given a 4-layer board with signal/ground/power/signal planes, are there any considerations I should make in placing this chip? Should it be closer to my input signal, or my ADC converter? Of course, this means ground and VDD will be coming in from the DAQ via traces, should I be concerned about this?
(screenshot: I am trying to get a battery onto the PCB, but this means I have to extend traces for communication rather far, and choose a side for the chip)
