MAX3218 Internal DC-DC converter behavior

Question

What is the designed switching frequency of MAX3218 internal boost? Does it go into pulse-skipping mode at all? Our input voltage supply is +1.8V.

Hello, 
 Thank you for your patience. The MAX3128 DC-DC operates in discontinuous conduction mode at low-load conditions. When VCC = 1.8V, at low-load currents, pulses may be as far as 200us apart (no load or very little load). The switching frequency increases to something closer to 200kHz (typ) under heavy loads.
