Hello,
I am designing an industrial system with four 24-V digital inputs (source/sink type), using one MAX22191 per input.
On the field side, should the GND pins of all MAX22191 devices be tied to a common sensor/field ground, or should each MAX22191 have a separate, individual field-side ground?
All inputs are part of the same digital input module, and the goal is correct operation while maintaining proper isolation .
