Yes, the device can operate at 1MHz.
However, depending on the power device you're driving, and so the gate charge you need to transfer for turn-on and turn-off, you'll need to assess the thermal limitation for your design, as power dissipation is proportional to the switching frequency.
Please refer to this section of the datasheet for the power dissipation math.
