Hi,
My question is what is the behavior of the device's RS-485 output when DI terminal is connected to Hi-Z output of a buffer or a microcontroller w/o any pull ups or pull downs. In other words, what is the behavior of the output when DI is floating.
Some additional information :
- Device is properly powered and both Vcc and Vio are present
- DE is set to high
- DI is floating as mentioned earlier
This condition is not described in table 13 of the datasheet unfortunately. Is there an internal pull up on the DI pin?
