Consulting about the top marking of ADBMS6822

Question

Hi, 
 Are there any official documents about the top marking regulation of ADBMS68 series? 
 We found some parts have the top marking without 'D', such as ADBMS6822 
 
 some parts have the top marking with 'D', such as ADBMS6830 
 
 We are confused about this and would like to get an official explanation. Thanks.
