interface LTC6820 with a stm32 based mirocontroller

Question

i wanted to interface LTC6820 with a stm32 based mirocontroller but i am little confused about the voltage level compatability, As much as given in datasheet i can control the voltage level of communication interface using the VDDS pin but what about the VDD pin, can that also be supplied by 3.3V
i have seen the reference design of foxBMS and i am a bit confused

VDD pin can work in the range of 2.7V to 5.5V. There should be no issues with supplying VDD pin with 3.3V.)

LTC6820 is a hardware transceiver and does not have any programmable/readable register. You can send SPI commands, it will convert them into isoSPI and vice versa.
