Recommended PCB Layout Query - Reg

Question

We have decided to use ADuM5000ARWZ IC in our design. In the recommended PCB Layout in datasheet, the NC pins (3,14) are connected with GND1 (pin:2) & GNDISO (pin:15). Does these pins need to be connected as recommended in PCB Design? Kindly provide your suggestion.

Hi Brindha, 
 In general, an NC pins has no internal connection, so it can be left open, tied to ground, or any other signal. In the case of the ADuM5000, best practice would be to tie them to the closest ground pins, pins 2 & 15 as you stated.
