MAX33041E slow rate resistor

 Hi ADI Expert,

I'm currently testing the MAX33041E for CAN-BUS package transmission, but it cannot pass the high-speed 1Mbps testing. So, I changed the external slew rate resistance from 39.2Kohm to 0, and it can pass the test. However, the low-speed test 10Kbps cannot pass. Could you please advise on how to define the slew rate resistance value? Please provide some suggestions.

    Just to clarify, you changed the external slew rate resistor from 39.2kΩ to 0Ω to get the 1Mbps test to pass, and kept this same value for the 10kbps test which is failing? Or did you switch back to 39.2kΩ for the 10kbps test?

    If it is the former, then I would suggest using 0Ω for the 1Mbps test and 39.2kΩ for the 10kbps test.

    The resistor value of 39.2kΩ is recommended as it will set the voltage on the STBY pin between 0.1V and 0.6V, putting the part into a slow slew rate mode.

    Yes, 0 ohm is passed 1Mbps testing and 39.2K for 10Kbps. thus I don't know how to design the resistor, Do you have detail information?
