Is the internal reference voltage of the ADuM6212 1.225V?

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: ADuM6212

Hello.

I have questions about ADuM6212.

The internal reference of the ADuM6212 is listed as 1.25V, but the VISO formula is 1.225V.

Is the internal reference voltage of the ADuM6212 1.225V?
Also, does the internal reference voltage vary from 1.225V depending on temperature and other factors?

Best regards,

  • Hello miky,

The internal reference for the ADuM6212 is supposed to be 1.25V, and it should be 1.25V in the Viso formula. In regards to it being affected by temperature, the PWM control signal has a 20% margin to account for dissipation of power between regular and maximum temperature to account for any power lost within the temperature variation.

  • Hello ,

    Thank you for the reply.

The reference voltage in equation (1) on p. 19 of the ADuM6212 data sheet (Rev. D) is 1.225V.

Revision History also shows evidence that equation (1) was changed in RevB of the data sheet.

Is the reference voltage in equation (1) 1.225V or 1.25V?

Is the 1.225V in equation (1) on the data sheet a mistake?

    Best regards,
