The /SEL pin has a level translation select function. It means that regardless of its state, it will do a level translation as shown below:
/SEL = "HIGH" ---> 3.3 V to 1.8 V level translation
/SEL = "LOW" ---> 3.3 V to 2.5 V or 2.5 V to 1.8 V level translation
